Stichting Rotterdam-Maaskant: For a more conscious perception of the architectural, urban and landscape design

The ceremony of the Maaskant Prize takes place annually since 1978. In even years there the ceremony of the Big Maaskant Award takes place, a sum of 25,000 euros, to one or more persons who have distinguished themselves in a special way in the fields of architecture, urban design and landscape architecture through journalism, teaching and / or research activities. In odd years, since 1985, the Young Maaskant Prize is awarded. The incentive prize of 5000 euro, a certificate and a grant for a communicative expression, goes to architects, landscape architects and urban designers of 35 years or younger.
